These recorded training sessions address the thirty-two data elements and their coursework completion usage.</p><p>Clarifications Please note the initial screen when logging into the CWCS is for the District/School CWCS Preferences which are used by the CWCS to determine the following: . If the District or School has a Student Information System that they will be using to interface with the CWCS. . File format the District or School wants for files that are created in the CWCS. . If the district has setup the section/course assignment as youth options (private college, UW system, technical college or youth apprenticeship) they may assign a monitoring educator from their district. Or, . If the district has setup the section/course assignment as an Alternative Education program (HSED, CA or HSC) they may assign a monitoring educator from their district. </p><p>Should districts report their charter schools? . Yes, all charter schools and/or virtual schools within a school district should be reported through the coursework completion system.</p><p>How many submission periods are there for CWCS Phase 3, 2012-2013 program year? . One, CW1 should be used for submitting coursework completion records for all reporting terms for the 2012-2013 program year. CW1 opened on February 20th and will close on August 15th 2013. CWCS collection type information can be located on the following URL, http://lbstat.dpi.wi.gov/lbstat_datacollecttype. . DPI will not be opening a second collection type (CW2). .
