Within the framework of my responsibilities I translated legal documents (certificates, contracts, consultations and protocols), promotional and marketing material (texts for promotional campaigns, price quotations, price lists, etc.) and technical material (system descriptions, technical specifications, and the like). I have extensive experience in simultaneous translation (Hebrew- Russian). 1992–1994 Worked in a commercial company at the Diamond Exchange in Ramat-Gan, Israel. Translated educational material on gemology subjects (semi-precious stones) from English to Russian and articles on the subject of gemology from Russian to English. As a part of tis work, I translated several chapters on precious and semi-precious stones for Menachem Sevdermish’s book “Gemology” from Russian into English. 1992–2001 Concurrent to the above positions, I have worked as a translator on a freelance basis, with an accumulated 12-year experience. 1988-1990 Working as a translator for scientific journal “Geography” of the Academy of Sciences of Russia. Translated various articles dedicated to the problems of geology, geography, ecology & regional planning. Education 1985–1990 Studied at the Geography Faculty of the Moscow State University. Combined course leading to MA. Concurrently majored in technical and scientific translations in Russian- English at the Moscow State University.. Received Registered Translator certificate.
