<p> Chapman ~Benns Church Blvd~ Cemetery Transcribed by members of the Grave Site Survey Task Force (GSSTF) Under the Auspices of Isle of Wight County Historical Society (IWCHS) Visited June 12, 2005</p><p>This cemetery is in a farm field and no tombstones are visible … it is simply a raised mound about 50 feet square and tracks from tractors crossing over the mound are clearly visible although the mound has not been plowed or cultivated. </p><p>The following information was obtained from courthouse records since it was not possible to record actual tombstone markings.</p><p>CHAPMAN CEMETERY</p><p>"LOCUST GROVE" LOCATED ON ROUTE 10 IN ISLE OF WIGHT CO., VA. ON THE ROBERT P. TAYLOR FARM. WAS THE CHAPMAN FARM AND WISHART FARM.</p><p>DONATED BY VIRGINIA WISHART BIRDSONG.
