<p> Senior Secretary Department of Philosophy Faculty of Humanities</p><p>We invite applications for a permanent Senior Secretary, for appointment from 15 January 2014 (or as soon as possible thereafter) to join the Philosophy Department’s administrative team in providing secretarial and administrative support. </p><p>Requirements:</p><p> Grade 12  Good written and verbal communication skills  Good reception skills  High level of computer literacy  Good time management and organisational skills  Ability to work independently and part of a team and to follow instructions  Able to multi task  Ability to work methodically and accurately  Excellent work ethic</p><p>The following would be advantageous:</p><p> A tertiary degree or Secretarial Diploma or equivalent work experience  Knowledge of the University’s academic and administrative procedures  Experience with PeopleSoft and Vula systems</p><p>Responsibilities: </p><p> Departmental administrative and secretarial functions  Course administration and student affairs  Marks processing  Interfacing with students at Reception window</p><p>The annual cost of employment for 2013, including benefits is between R 141 483 and R 166 490.
