Peer reviewers comment on draft protocols or full review during the editorial process.</p><p>A consumer may be someone that has a developmental, psychosocial or learning problem, is a relative or carer, or who advocates on behalf of other consumers. Consumers may help establish priorities for reviews, write reviews, consult on reviews in progress, or assist with peer review.</p><p>Statisticians and other experts in systematic review methods advise Review Groups and authors throughout the review process.</p><p>Supporting local Cochrane activities may include acting as a local contact point, disseminating information, hosting local training events, or identifying funding opportunities.</p><p>Translators assist authors by reading, assessing or translating articles published in languages other than English.</p><p>Handsearchers search through selected journals or conference proceedings for reports of relevant trials.
