<p> Create Equipment BOM– IB01</p><p>Definition:-</p><p>The equipment BOM contains a list of components that are regularly used during the maintenance of the equipment. </p><p>The equipment BOM enable materials planning in maintenance orders and task lists to be performed more effectively. </p><p>Prerequisite:-</p><p>Material master list of all required spares must have been created already in the plant.</p><p>Menu Path:-</p><p>Logistics  Plant Maintenance  Management of Technical Objects  Bill of Material  Equipment BOM  IB01 - Create</p><p>Double click IB01</p><p>Maintain the following fields</p><p>Equipment number Plant in which the BOM is to be created BOM usage - indicates the specific application. Click </p><p>Maintain the following field for each row</p><p>Item category – L to indicate it is stock item Component code – specifying the spare required Qty – Quantity of spare used for this equipment Click to check the header details</p><p>Maintain the BOM text if required.</p><p>Check the base quantity and BOM status Click </p><p>Select the item</p><p>Click to view item details</p><p>Click </p><p>Maintain any long text if required.</p><p>Click Change Equipment BOM– IB02</p><p>Definition:-</p><p>The equipment BOM contains a list of components that are regularly used during the maintenance of the equipment. </p><p>After the equipment BOM is created, changes will need to be made to it from time to time to keep it updated. </p><p>The equipment BOM enable materials planning in maintenance orders and task lists to be performed more effectively. </p><p>Prerequisite:-</p><p>Material master list of all required spares must have been created already in the plant.</p><p>Menu Path:-</p><p>Logistics  Plant Maintenance  Management of Technical Objects  Bill of Material  Equipment BOM  IB02 - Change</p><p>Double click IB02</p><p>Maintain the following fields</p><p>Equipment number Plant in which the BOM is to be created BOM usage - indicates the specific application. Select the row 0030</p><p>Click </p><p> click </p><p>Change the stud and Nut quantity from 4 to 6</p><p>Click Link Material BOM to Equipment – IE02</p><p>Definition:-</p><p>In PM Module, Maintenance Assembly can be created. PM Assembly is a specific type of material master record. It is used for only creating Material BOM</p><p>When a same component is required for many equipment to perform the maintenance task, then the same PM assembly BOM (material BOM) can be linked to several equipments.</p><p>SAP allows the same PM Assembly BOM to be linked to individual Equipment records.</p><p>When any of the Equipment items are the subject of a Maintenance order the PM Assembly BOM can be displayed within the Maintenance order to reserve any required components.</p><p>Prerequisite:-</p><p>PM assembly , Equipment and material master must exist in the system.</p><p>Menu Path:-</p><p>Logistics  Plant Maintenance  Management of Technical Objects  Equipment  IE02 - Change </p><p>Double click IE02</p><p>Maintain the Equipment Number Click </p><p>Click </p><p>Maintain the following field</p><p>- Material number under which pieces of equipment of the same construction are grouped.</p><p>Enter the PM assembly number. PMA230001 Click Create Functional Location BOM– IB11</p><p>Definition:-</p><p>The Functional location BOM contains a list of components that are regularly used during the maintenance of the Functional location. </p><p>The Functional location BOM enables materials planning in maintenance orders and task lists to be performed more effectively.</p><p>Prerequisite:-</p><p>Material master list of all required spares must have been created already in the plant.</p><p>Menu Path:-</p><p>Logistics  Plant Maintenance  Management of Technical Objects  Bill of Material  Functional Location BOM  IB11 - Create</p><p>Double click IB11</p><p>Maintain the following fields</p><p>Functional Location number Plant in which the BOM is to be created BOM usage - indicates the specific application. For example if new materials are required or materials are superseded, the current BOM items will need to be updated.</p><p>The Functional location BOM enables materials planning in maintenance orders and task lists to be performed more effectively.</p><p>Prerequisite:-</p><p>Material master list of all required spares must have been created already in the plant.</p><p>Menu Path:-</p><p>Logistics  Plant Maintenance  Management of Technical Objects  Bill of Material  Functional Location BOM  IB12 - Change</p><p>Double click IB12</p><p>Maintain the following fields</p><p>Functional Location number Plant in which the BOM is to be created BOM usage - indicates the specific application. A material BOM can be included in both functional location and equipment BOM.</p><p>Prerequisite:-</p><p>PM assembly and material master must exist in the system.</p><p>Menu Path:-</p><p>Logistics  Plant Maintenance  Management of Technical Objects  Bill of Material  Material BOM  CS01 - Create </p><p>Double click CS01</p><p>Maintain the following fields</p><p>Material number. E.g PM assembly number. Plant in which the BOM is to be created BOM usage - indicates the specific application. A material BOM can be included in both functional location and equipment BOM.</p><p>After creation of BOM, it may be required to change the components or component quantity in the BOM to keep the data up to date.</p><p>Prerequisite:-</p><p>PM assembly and material master must exist in the system.</p><p>Menu Path:-</p><p>Logistics  Plant Maintenance  Management of Technical Objects  Bill of Material  Material BOM  CS02 - Change </p><p>Double click CS02</p><p>Maintain the following fields</p><p>Material number. E.g PM assembly number. Plant in which the BOM is to be created BOM usage - indicates the specific application. Click </p><p>Let us change the quantity of M12 stud and nut to 8 from 6 for our example purpose. Click </p><p>Message appear at the bottom</p><p>Material where Used List – CS15</p><p>Definition:- Where used list transaction lists all BOM using a specific entered material. </p><p>This is very helpful to confirm that the material is not assigned to any Bill of Material before marking it for deletion.</p><p>For example, a pump containing a coupling that is no longer used needs to be identified before the flange can be deleted.</p><p>Prerequisite:-</p><p>PM assembly, Equipment and material master must exist in the system.</p><p>Menu Path:-</p><p>Logistics  Plant Maintenance  Management of Technical Objects  Bill of Material  Usage  CS15 - Single level Material </p><p>Double click CS15</p><p>Maintain the material Number</p><p>Tick the following check boxes Direct Equipment BOM and Functional Location BOM Click </p><p>Enter Plant IND6</p><p>Enter usage 4 Click </p><p>Select the equipment </p><p>Click Click </p><p>Click Click </p><p>Click </p><p>Create PM Assembly – MMPI Definition:-</p><p>In PM Module, Maintenance Assembly can be created. PM Assembly is a specific type of material master record. </p><p>The PM assembly is only used within the plant maintenance module. A PM assembly will never be a stock item. </p><p>It is only used to: . provide further breakdown of an equipment . create a material BOM</p><p>Prerequisite:-</p><p>Authorization to create Material master is required.</p><p>Menu Path:-</p><p>Logistics  Plant Maintenance  Management of Technical Objects  Material  Create (Special)  MMP1 - Maintenance Assembly</p><p>Double click MMP1</p><p>Maintain the following fields</p><p>PM Assembly Number.
