<p> School District 19 (Revelstoke) 2017/2018 Employment Opportunity</p><p>Position: Automotive Technology Teacher FTE: 1.0 Location: Revelstoke Secondary School Status: Full-Time Temporary Effective Date(s): August 30th, 2017 to June 29th, 2018</p><p>Summary:</p><p>This position will involve instruction in Automotive Technology 11 & 12; Engine and Drive Train 12; Metal Fabrication 11; Technology Education 9 & 10 (General) and one area to be determined depending the successful candidate’s strength.</p><p>Qualifications:</p><p>1. A valid BC Professional Teaching Certificate;</p><p>2. Must possess specialized education in Automotive Technology;</p><p>3. Must have demonstrated success working with secondary students in a shop environment;</p><p>4. Must possess demonstrated competence as an automotive technician; </p><p>5. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet a range of abilities and interests;</p><p>6. Ability to provide a program of instruction which incorporates the theoretical and practical components of the programs; and</p><p>7.
