<p> H.A.S. Development Committee Meeting Minutes April 14, 2016 </p><p>Attendance: Pam Bollen, Mike Sternig, Amy Barnes, Kara Guse, Chad Wohlt, Ross Zautner, Ingrid Laforest, Peter German, Karen Girard</p><p>1. Prayer Led by Pam </p><p>2. Approval of Minutes from last meeting Ingrid approved 2/18/16 minutes; Amy seconded; motion carried </p><p>3. Alumni Relations</p><p>● Nothing new to report</p><p>4. Annual Fund</p><p>● Will go forward as usual this fall</p><p>5. Fundraising</p><p>● Soles for Education: October 15; renewed effort to find a co-chair to work with Kara for this event</p><p>● Ross gave updated totals on Fish fry & raffle; totals were similar to last year’s</p><p>● To be considered for next year’s raffle: since donations to classroom gift baskets have been so generous, suggest to room parents they divide the items up into several smaller gift baskets rather than one large one </p><p>● Golf outing: August 5</p><p>6. Grant Writing</p><p>● Pam passed along a report she received from this committee; they are finding few grants that HAS qualifies for</p><p>7. HAM</p><p>● No winter issue; next issue will go out 2nd week of May and will include Valentine party, Fish Fry & Raffle, and coupon for free beverage at the Festival of Angels</p><p>8. PAC</p><p>● Search continues for new co-chairperson(s) for next year</p><p>● Teacher appreciation week schedule is set</p><p>● Suggestion that families donating food for events be given clearer guidelines on quantity of food being requested</p><p>9. PR/Marketing/Recruiting</p><p>● No update 10. New Business ● To be considered for next year’s Grandparent’s Day: have a photo booth to take pictures of grandparents with their grandchildren, with photos and notes of appreciation mailed to grandparents</p><p>Next Meeting: Thursday, August 11, 2016 at 6:30pm at Idle Hour (music on main: 5 Card Studs)</p>
