Red-D-Arc currently offers rental welding-equipment through over 50 service centers in the United States, Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Europe and the Middle East, as well as through Airgas construction Stores and dealer network that included the Caribbean, Puerto Rico, Trinidad, Kazakhstan and Australia.</p><p>Job Description</p><p>After a training program of 3 to 5 months, the successful candidate will develop rentals and sales of welding equipment in assigned region by following sales leads, making presentations, preparing quotes, maintaining all required literature, providing customer follow-up. Assess customer needs and recommend solutions. Some overnight travel as well as excellent communication skills required. </p><p>Essential Duties (include but not limited to):</p><p> Develop and increase end user customer base by effective communication, assessment of needs and recommendation of solutions  Perform onsite equipment demonstrations  Make application recommendations of welding and positioning equipment  Provide back-up coverage at the branch location during vacations and shortages  Develop long-term supply relationships through contracts and/or agreements  Provide customer follow-up  Work as part of a team in providing customer solutions.  Meet or exceed rental and sales goals specified in the market area.  Represent the company at trade association meetings, Trade Shows promoting products  Compile list of prospective customers for sales leads based on information from newspapers, business directories, trade journals and other sources  Maintain accurate and timely submission of sales call reports & expenses</p><p>Required Skills and Qualifications</p><p> Sales experience in either an industrial equipment rental or a welding equipment sales or rental environment (ideally construction, fabrication, and/or manufacturing sectors)  Working knowledge of positioning equipment, welding applications and equipment is strongly desirable  Self-starter, self-motivated, sense of urgency, well organized, ability to achieve goals, ability to focus and pay attention to detail  Have the ability to develop and execute market/business plans  Must have excellent technical, oral and writing skills as well as strong interpersonal and management skills  Proven ability to make sound business decisions  Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups in a business setting  Good presentation and negotiating skills  Must be able to work with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds  Working knowledge of computers including the use of MS office products  Ability to travel and be away from home 25-35% of the time  Clean driving record Please apply, in confidence, via email to [email protected] or via fax to 1-905-481-2401 by June 25, 2012.</p><p>Red-D-Arc would like to thank all candidates for their application; however only those selected for an interview will be contacted.</p>
