<p> LawWorks</p><p>Administrator for LawWorks Clinics and LawWorks Web</p><p>Job Description</p><p>Reporting to: Rebecca Barnes and Graham Bucknall</p><p>Salary: NJC 28 (£25,395 inc London Weighting)</p><p>Hours: 35 per week While normal hours will be 9am to 5pm, the post will involve some early evening work with appropriate flexibility.</p><p>Holiday: 25 days per year</p><p>Benefits: 5% pension contribution; Private health cash back plan</p><p>Location of post: LawWorks, 10 – 13 Lovat Lane, London EC3R 8DN</p><p>Main purpose</p><p>To provide administrative support and assistance to LawWorks for Individuals.</p><p>Duties of the post o Clinics o Gathering monitoring figures on a quarterly basis from Clinics. o Keeping website updated with national volunteering opportunities in Clinics. o Keeping details of Clinic sessions updated on the website. o Drafting standard documentation for individual Clinics (model supplied). o Providing quarterly mailings to the Clinics. o In Depth o Handling enquiries from the public. o Registering in-depth cases and keeping track of their progress. o Helping to place cases when approved through either an electronic system or by direct telephone contact with law firms. o Training o Arranging training terms and booking trainers and venues. o Responsible for training database – posting up courses, enquiries etc. o Keeping track of progress of arrangements for each session. o Attending evening training sessions – approx 1 per week for 4 months of the year. o Miscellaneous o General administrative assistance for Clinics, In-Depth and Training. o Arranging meetings and appointments. Including contacting participants, distributing paperwork as directed, booking meeting rooms where necessary, ensuring availability of audio-visual equipment as required, producing and distributing papers and materials. o Handling telephone enquiries from LawWorks members. o Liaising with internal staff and external contacts as necessary. o Assisting LawWorks for Individuals team in all project matters/events etc. with which they are involved – including covering for holiday periods of others. o Participating in general work of the charity on day to day basis as required including occasional evening work.</p><p>Skills and Experience</p><p>Essential Desirable Ability to set up and maintain filing systems Good written and oral communication ability Good telephone manner with experience of dealing with a variety of individuals and agencies Competent computer skills using Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel. Use of web-based systems. Good team member. Ability to multi-task Accuracy and attention to detail Knowledge of the legal profession and how it is organised. Familiarity with input to Access databases. Experience of working in a small organisation, preferably a charity</p>
