X, a member of the House Energy and commerce Committee, has a long history of supporting bipartisan efforts to combat the epidemic. From his/her support of the Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act (CARA) and the 21 st Century Cures Act, which are both law, Rep. X has continued to fight for vulnerable patients in need of help.
