<p> INSURANCE FOR STUDENTS</p><p>• Please bring the application form and a copy of the Meldezettel, Studienblatt and Studienbestätigung to the Wiener Gebietskrankenkasse (Wienerbergstr. 15-19, 1100 Wien) • Your insurance starts one day after the completion of your application. • A letter of confirmation stating that you are insured will be sent to your home address in Vienna. • You get an insurance card + number → please always keep the card with you! • Payment forms are sent monthly to your home address. Please pay within 15 days (the student insurance costs EUR 55,40 per month). • How to cancel your insurance: Please complete the form “Abmeldung” and send it to the Wiener Gebietskrankenkasse before you leave Vienna. The branches, however, don’t process your application but just forward them to the headquarters – which prolongs the process.
