<p>London Wildlife Trust Admin and Research Intern </p><p>Role Description </p><p>Responsible to: HR and Admin Manager </p><p>Located at: London Wildlife Trust Central Office, Skyline House, 200 Union Street, London SE1 OLX</p><p>Responsible for: Being the first point of contact at reception, assisting the Directorate Team with admin duties and supporting the CEO and Executive Assistant with research assignments. </p><p>Overall Responsibilities:</p><p>Reception: 1.To answer telephone calls and redirect them as needed. 2.To meet and greet visitors and assist them on arrival. 3.To open and sort incoming post for distribution; to frank outgoing post at the end of the day. 4.To log incoming cheques and invoices. 5.To keep the reception area tidy and well stocked, including purchasing milk when needed. 6.To provide ongoing assistance in the organizing office facilities and off-site storage 7.To organise the meeting rooms ensuring they are prepared for the next meeting and audio visual equipment in set up/ cleared away. 8. To manage the enquires@wildlondon email address and redirect/ respond to queries as needed. </p><p>Directorate team projects: 1.Supporting the CEO and Executive Assistant by undertaking research assignments and information gathering. This will be mainly internet based and require information, analysis and interpretation. 2.Undertake admin duties as required by the Executive Assistant to support the work of the CEO. </p><p>Other duties:</p><p>1. To encourage donations and to assist in and promote related events and campaigns where appropriate. b) Health and Safety: All staff are legally responsible for ensuring Health and Safety considerations are taken into account in all working situations. Staff are encouraged to make reports or suggestions on any matters of concern. c) Equal opportunities: To work at all times within the Trust’s Equal Opportunities Policy and to promote equal opportunities wherever possible especially with regard to volunteer and membership recruitment.</p><p>Terms and Conditions</p><p>Compensation: All travel expenses (zones 1-6)</p><p>Hours of work: 3 days per week, 9.30 am - 5.30pm, including one hour for lunch. This time also includes some weekend and evening working for which time off in lieu is given.</p><p>Holidays: 25 days per annum plus statutory holidays</p><p>Tenure: 3/ 4 months with the possibility of extension. </p><p>Page 2 of 3 London Wildlife Trust Admin and Research Intern </p><p>Role Description </p><p>The following experience, skills and aptitudes are those that we are looking for in candidates for the post of Admin and Research Intern.
