CONSENT AGENDA </p><p>The superintendent makes the following recommendations:</p><p>A. Approval of Minutes Attachment VII.A</p><p>September 22, 2015 Regular Meeting Minutes October 13, 2015 Regular Meeting Minutes</p><p>B. Curriculum & Instruction</p><p>1. Trip Request(s)</p><p>Union Educational Complex, 85 Elementary students to Frostburg State University to see a live theater production on November 4, 2015.</p><p>2. School Visitor(s)</p><p>Heather Decker with the American Heart Association will be visiting Maysville Elementary School for a Jump Rope for Heart Assembly on March 16, 2016.</p><p>1 April 19, 2011 Teresa Nazelrodt with the WVU Extension Services will be visiting Petersburg Elementary School to conduct activities for 4-H National Youth Science – Motion Commotion on October 8, 2015.</p><p>Brad Smith with the WVU Extension Services will be visiting Petersburg Elementary School to present Motion Commotion for 6th grade students on October 13, 2015.</p><p>Megan Goldizen an EMT will be visiting Petersburg Elementary School to show 5th graders basic first-aid and CPR techniques on October 22nd and 23rd, 2015.</p><p>Samantha Sefick with the WVU School of Osteopathic Medicine will be visiting Petersburg High School to discuss different health careers with the 10th grade health classes on October 28, 2015.</p><p>3. Fund Raiser(s)</p><p>The following Fund Raisers are being submitted for approval:</p><p>Petersburg Elementary School</p><p>PTO – Santa Shop – December 7 through 11, 2015 5th Grade – Computers for Education – October and November 2015</p><p>Union Educational Complex</p><p>8th Grade – Dime Pitch & Raffle – October 9, 2015 FFA – Fall Fest Booth – October 9, 2015 Sophomore Class – Dance – October 30, 2015</p><p>4. 2015-16 Work-Based Learning Sites</p><p>Allegheny Wood Products International Mill #4 is being added to the 2015-16 Work-Based Learning Site list.</p><p>C. Personnel Approval </p><p>None.</p><p>D. Budget and Finance</p><p>1. Bills (Beginning Ck# 23583 - Ending Ck# 23633) Attachment VII.D.1</p><p>The bills to be paid are being submitted for approval. October 27, 2015</p><p>E. Facilities</p><p>1. Use of Building Request(s)</p><p>The Petersburg Elementary School’s PTO is requesting the use of the school’s Gym, Kitchen, and Cafeteria for their annual Fall Fest on October 24, 2015.</p><p>The Petersburg Elementary School’s PTO is requesting the use of the Petersburg High School’s Football Field area for inflatables as a reward on May 24th and 25th, 2016.</p><p>The WV Natural Resource Police are requesting the use of Maysville Elementary School’s Gym for Basic Archery Instructor certification for Archery in Schools on November 14, 2015.</p><p>The Maysville Elementary School’s PTO is requesting the use of the school for their Fall Fest on October 30th & 31st, 2015.</p><p>The Potomac Highlands Soccer League is requesting the use of Petersburg Elementary School’s cafeteria for their end of season awards and party on November 16, 2015.</p><p>2. Building Modification Request(s)</p><p>Petersburg High School is requesting permission to renovate the baseball field with new in-field dirt.</p><p>VIII.
