Remember, we can see how a character changes through what a character says, thinks about, his/her effects on others, his or her actions, and his or her looks (STEAL).</p><p>Prompt: In a 5-paragraph essay, show how a character (Winston, Julia, or O’Brien) changes throughout the book as the plot progresses. </p><p>Find three pieces of evidence and use well-chosen, relevant, and sufficient facts (3 quotes) to support your comparison/argument. Use your charts and the articles you find to help you develop character traits and conflicts that show how the character has changed. </p><p>Sample Outline: 1. Introduction a. Hook b.
