<p>Welcome CSWE 2 Work it Out students!</p><p>Your project is to make a video about how to set a table. It will probably take up to 4 FLC sessions (Thursday 1.30 to 2.30 pm)</p><p>Step 1.</p><p>Make yourself familiar with the assessment criteria for Module F, Learning Outcome 2 - "Give Spoken Instructions"</p><p>Level 2 Spoken instructions.doc</p><p>Step 2.</p><p>Work as a group to practise setting a table and write down the steps. There should be no more than 6 steps. Show what you've written to a teacher.</p><p>Step 3.</p><p>Have a look at a video about setting a table. This is just to give you a model for your instructions. Your instructions that you made in Step 2 are probably different. Practice saying them until your pronunciation is perfect! You can use the "Read&Write Gold" program to help you with pronunciation. Ask a teacher for help to use this program.</p><p>Step 5.</p><p>Go to the learning centre to borrow a digital camera. If none of you knows how to use it, ask one of the Learning Centre staff to give you a demonstration. Make sure everyone in the group knows how to use the camera.</p><p>Step 6.</p><p>Make your video "How to set a table". Keep it short. Only 1 minute. Take turns operating the camera and performing so that everyone in the group does both things. Step 7.</p><p>Edit your video. You can ask a teacher to help you with this.</p><p>Step 8</p><p>Upload your video to Youtube. Click to find out how.</p><p>Step 9</p><p>Put your video on your Student Page on the wiki.
