SERVICING OF VACUUM BREAKERS </p><p>The following service will be carried out:  Clean damper cylinder.  Adjust settings on damper.  Check tension on latching springs.  Lubricate all moving parts on basic and spring charge mech.  Test breaker mechanically and electrically for opening and closing.  Test circuit breaker for vacuum loss.  Check wear limit on interrupters.  Test mechanical interlock on breakers.  Clean L.V. contacts.</p><p>2. SPEED TRACE ON VACUUM BREAKER:  Closing speed.  Tripping speed.</p><p>3. SERVICING OF OIL BREAKERS.</p><p>The following service will be carried out:  Drop oil tank.  Inspect contacts fixed and moving.  Lubricate mechanism.  Tap out oil sample for testing.  Adjust setting on mech. If necessary.  Replace tank gasket.  Test oil breaker electrically and mechanically for tripping and closing.  Inspect tank liner.  Inspect contact travel.  Inspect spindle worm.  Test mechanical interlocks.  Lubricate racking assembly.  Inspect buffer rubbers.  Pressure test breaker AC KV. Please note: Additional cost will apply if oil or fixed and moving contact need to be replaced.</p><p>4.
