<p>For Peat’s Sake Project </p><p>FPS5 Equipment List</p><p>Schools to provide:</p><p> All personal equipment, i.e. suitable clothing, wellies or boots etc. (see attached "Field trip clothing" sheet).  Freezer bags and seals  Trowels  Clip boards  Pencils  Measuring cylinder 500ml – 1 litre</p><p>Broads Authority to provide:</p><p> pH/ temp meters  pH water testing kit  Nitrate testing kit  Phosphate testing kit  Water depth testing kit  Random number tables  GPS  Peat corers  White guttering  1 m canes (to mark the plots)  1:25,000 Map  Cameras / camera phones  Broads plants ID chart + Plant field guides  Hand wipes  Bucket of water (for rudimentary cleaning)  Cling film (for wrapping peat cores to keep their shape)  Site map</p><p>In order to have enough equipment for pupils to work in pairs/threes, both sides should provide some of:</p><p> Quadrats (½ x ½ m2 )  Soil thermometers,  Cameras/camera phones  One metre rules  Measuring tape 20m</p><p>Contact for more info and any queries: </p><p>Nick Sanderson (Education Officer) 01603 756089 or 07710 806109 [email protected] Based on materials produced for the MICCI project by Peak District National Park education service </p>
