<p> 11-15-12 ELRC Statewide Meeting Agenda</p><p>Meeting Purposes:  Celebrate progress to date  Understand “hot topics” in early learning at a deeper level  Provide a venue for peer learning  Strategize for the upcoming year</p><p>Timefra Topic Goals me 9:00- Welcome  Orient everyone to the day 9:15  Establish camaraderie</p><p>9:15- 2012 Recap and Looking  Reflect on the growth and progress of the 10:00 to the Future coalitions  Provide ELRC’s with an opportunity to engage with leadership at Thrive and DEL</p><p>10:00- Break 10:15 10:15-  Increased understanding of important 11:30 Breakout Session elements of Early Achievers (participan Early Achievers  Share ideas about how to build participation ts choose among providers and demand among parents one  Strategize for 2013 session for this block  Increase understanding of the types and of time) Breakout Session format of WaKIDS data coming in January WaKIDS  Provide feedback to Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction on the type of reports that would be helpful to local planning/coordination</p><p>Breakout Session  Increase understanding about the current Home Visiting home visiting landscape in Washington  Identify ways to improve sustainability and expansion of what is in place</p><p>Breakout Session  Discuss opportunities for ELRC’s to engage in Advocacy advocacy efforts  Strategize for 2013</p><p>11:30- Reflections  Discuss how the ELRC’s are engaging in this Noon work  Participants that couldn’t attend other sessions get a high level feel for the discussion, understand where the momentum is for 2013</p><p>12:00- Using the Right Drivers  Explore some of the current “givens” in our 12:15 for Change context (Lunch Conversation)  Identify what we can/must do to augment what 11-15-12 ELRC Statewide Meeting Agenda</p><p>Timefra Topic Goals me is already being advanced by forces beyond us</p><p>12:15- Lunch 1:00 1:00-1:45 Using the Right Drivers  Acknowledge the critical role capacity building for Change plays in achieving success (continued)  Frame the article by Michael Fullan and build bridges between the main themes and the work of the ELRC’s</p><p>1:45-3:00 Breakout Session  Explore how/whether the proposed changes to (participan State-Local Coordination state-local coordination will effect ELRC’s ts choose  Identify proposed changes one session for Breakout Session  Familiarize participants with the RETOC this block Racial Equity Theory of process to date of time) Change  Discuss the role of Thrive by Five in promoting Race Equity  Understand how peers plan to advance racial equity</p><p>3:00-3:15 Break 3:15-3:45 Reflections  Discuss how the ELRC’s are engaging in this work  Participants that couldn’t attend other session get a high level feel for the discussion, understand where the momentum is for 2013</p><p>3:45-4:00 Wrap-Up  Discuss the identity of what this statewide group wants to be  Provide feedback on what worked, what didn’t with the meeting</p>
