<p> ILL QR#5: ILL Missing Report</p><p>Procedure:</p><p>1. Add Column S (FIRST_OCCURANCE) to track how long each request has been on this report. Items that have been searched 4 times should not be searched again.</p><p>2. Add Column T (DEPARTMENT) to identify where the book should be searched</p><p>3. Exclude all items from 12+ months in the past (sort data by FIRST_OCCURANCE)</p><p>4. Split the list into subunits for systematic searching:</p><p> a. Butler</p><p> b. Butler Other (includes graduate study reading rooms, Paterno, etc)</p><p> c. Milstein</p><p> d. Milstein-Barnard</p><p> e. Lehman, Journalism & Social Work (send to jp43, aeb2243 and kk18)</p><p> f. All other Outside Libraries</p><p> g. Health Sciences (send to Gene Robinson)</p><p> h. Offsite</p><p>5. Student workers search by call number and verify match by barcode</p><p>6. All search results are to be noted on the search list</p><p>7. Bring all found books to 307 to include in regular discharge routine</p><p>8. If call number matches but barcode does not, pull all copies of the book and direct to supervisor’s attention </p><p> a. Supervisor will verify item-by-item that only 1 Active barcode is assigned to book</p><p> b.
