<p> TOWNSHIP OF FRANKLIN COUNTY OF GLOUCESTER</p><p>RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR PURCHASE OF 2011/12 GMC SIERRA 4WD 2500 HD PICKUP TRUCK FROM FLEMINGTON CHEVY BUICK GMC CADILLAC, LLC</p><p>R-114-11</p><p>WHEREAS, the Township of Franklin wishes to enter into a contract for the purchase of 2011/12 GMC SIERRA 4WD 2500 HD PICKUP TRUCK from an authorized vendor under the State of New Jersey Cooperative Purchasing Program I-NJCP; and</p><p>WHEREAS, the purchase of goods and services by local contracting units is authorized by the Local Public Contracts Law NJSA 40A:11-12; and</p><p>WHEREAS, Flemington Chevy Buick GMC Cadillac, LLC, 211 Routes 202 & 31, Flemington, NJ 08822 has been awarded the New Jersey State Contract No. A78847 and</p><p>WHEREAS, the Qualified Purchasing Agent recommends the utilization of this contract on the grounds that it represents the best overall price, service and warranty; and</p><p>WHEREAS, the cost for the purchase of 2011/12 GMC Sierra 4WD 2500 HD Pickup Truck will not exceed $41,000.00; and</p><p>WHEREAS, funds are or will be available through the township budget under the Clean Communities Grant line item; and</p><p>WHEREAS, the Chief Finance Officer has certified that funds are or will be available for this purchase;</p><p>NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Township Committee of the Township of Franklin, in the County of Gloucester, that Flemington Chevy Buick GMC Cadillac, LLC, 211 Routes 202 & 31, Flemington, NJ 08822 in an amount not to exceed FORTY ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($41.000.00); and</p><p>BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the appropriate officers that being the Mayor and Clerk of the Township of Franklin are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Flemington Chevy Buick GMC Cadillac of Flemington New Jersey.</p><p>ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Township Committee of the Township of Franklin held on June 28, 2011.</p><p>ATTEST: TOWNSHIP OF FRANKLIN</p><p>______CAROLYN K.
