<p> CITY OF GLOBE</p><p>CITY ENGINEER Job Posting No. 17-15</p><p>The City of Globe is accepting applications for a City Engineering Assistant for its Public Works Department.</p><p>JOB DESCRIPTION</p><p>Performs complex engineering support and field engineering support for environmental, water, sewer, street, and other Public Works projects and programs </p><p>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS</p><p> High School Graduate with 5 years related experience  Basic knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices and methods as applicable to a municipal setting.  Skilled in arriving at cost estimates on complex projects.  Skill in using computer-aided design software, standard drafting tools, and surveying equipment including level, theodolite and electronic distance measuring devices.  Strong personal skills with ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, with employees, consultants, contractors other governmental agency representatives, City officials and the general public.  Surveying ability considered a plus.</p><p>Salary: $40,788- $42,500 DOE</p><p>Applications are available at City Hall, 150 N.
