Shambo, 2nd C. Veley - carried</p><p>Treasurer’s Report Section V budget -17/18 Current Assets - $498.124.70</p><p>Motion to approve – D. Martin, 2nd – D. Pullen – carried</p><p>Executive Director Report Batavia / Attica wrestling combined team appeal – heard at the state level on Nov. 21st. NYSPHSAA overturned the Section V denial.</p><p>Basketball Coordinator – Jack P. has agreed to say on for the 18-19 season. We had three or four individuals express interest. They will be actively involved in this year’s tournament as members of the committee.</p><p>Girls Lacrosse Coordinator – still in needed of someone. Please encourage people to get involved.</p><p>Combined teams committee – K. Hoyt, C. Veley, C. Cotto and D. Pullen are working together to put together a combined team information packet which will include state guidelines, deadlines, criteria for approval or denial, etc. 1st draft was provided. Final draft will be ready for 18-19 school year.</p><p>Superintendent Representative to the Executive Committee – Joe Englebert from Warsaw will be replacing Tim Hayes, who has resigned. Motion – P. Shambo, 2nd – P. Mancuso - carried</p><p>December EC meeting – no need to meet at this time</p><p>Sport Liaisons – changes made do to new people on Exec. Committee</p><p>State bids – Section V was awarded girls golf state championship for 19, 20 and 21 at Deerfield. Section V putting in a bid for cheerleading.</p><p>Correspondence received – two emails form parents relative to a “family” rate at sectional events. One letter relative to girls swimming on boys swim / dive teams.</p><p>Formula for BOCES service charge needs to be approved by the 91 public schools. Ballot will be sent out by Friday, Dec. 1st. Return by Dec. 15th</p><p>Total BOCES budget – billed monthly to the 91 public schools</p><p>75% of total budget will be divided by total # of Varsity sports = per sport fee</p><p>25% of the total budget will be divided by 91 public schools = per district fee Action items Approval of October 18th Executive Committee meeting minutes Motion – C. Shambo, 2nd – Jackie Meyer - carried</p><p>Discussion Items</p><p>Section V strategic plan – Section V is moving forward with the approved plan and looking to add in the second position starting July 1st. Draft job description was distributed.</p><p>Section V standardized rates of pay - breakout session in 4 groups Boys PE reps, Girls PE reps, Principals and Superintendents</p><p>Provided with recommendation, NYSPHSAA rates of pay and other sections rates of pay Answered the following questions: Pay by contest or by the hour? What would the pay scale be for the various positions?
