<p> Walnut Beach Association Meeting Minutes May 13, 2013 St. Gabriele Church Hall</p><p>Meeting called to order at 7:09 pm. Pledge of Allegiance Sign in sheet circulated: 30 Members in attendance </p><p>President’s Report – Joe Garbus: Enhancement:  Last crossover is just having railing finished up</p><p>Secretary’s Report – Tina Pritchard: April meeting minutes provided for review. Judy made a motion to approve, Joe seconded, motion passed. </p><p>Treasurer’s Report – Leisa Gazdik: Report read, Joe made motion to accept, Marty seconded, motion passed.</p><p>Beautification Committee:  Dave reported that they cleaned up plants around arch and bocce court, more to come.  Still looking for garbage cans to be returned.  Joe mentioned street scape and widened sidewalk work to begin soon.</p><p>Block Watch – Leisa Gazdik:  Waiting for a meeting date to be announced. Another captain volunteer.</p><p>Publicity – No member present: </p><p>Festival –Tyyne Catapano:  Receiving applications 3-4 per week.  Milford Bank sponsored for $1000.</p><p>Summer Concert Series – Wendy Terenzio:  Starting to work on postcards and advertising</p><p>Beach Clean-up:  MacKenzie reported the success of clean-up with 188 volunteers, 100 bags of garbage, 14 tires, metal and siding. Thanks to everyone for your help and sponsorship.  Congratulations to MacKenzie for winning the Mayor’s Youth Award. 5K Race:  Paperwork ready to go</p><p>New Business:  Literacy donation of $250.00  This month’s raffle prize was a certificate for Walnut Beach Creamery.
