End of (See attached) February available funds £11,157.67. 3.2 Quiz Night – Grand total of £221.69 profit. R 3.3 Spaghetti Swing – Profit of £137.50.</p><p> a 3.4 Funding Streams for proposed refurbishments </p><p> discussed. It was decided to go for grants and d loans, with grants being preferred. Grant applications to be prepared by CW/FH plus CW/FH/All f</p><p> support from other Ctte members. Funding Day o in Redditch – DMcL to go for part of day/GW if DMcL/GW possible. FH to send letters to Howdens etc. FH r</p><p>4. Health & Safety Report 4.1 Nothing to report. d</p><p>5. Facilities Report 5.1 Rous Lench Village Hall noticeboard – to be done DB/GW/ Saturday 7th March. DMcL V 5.2 Radiators on stage – GW suggested having 2 fan assisted radiators or LPG heaters which cost £400 i</p><p> l</p><p> with gas bottle. It was decided to have a trial with l</p><p>DB’s heater with possibility of buying one in the a summer. DB/GW 5.3 TV Licence – been renewed. Possibility of buying g</p><p>TV from Dave Burns was discussed and refused. e</p><p>5. 6. Events/Bookings 6.1 Forthcoming Events: </p><p>14 Mar - Tickets for Gordon Giltrap going well. H Prices - £13 with pie/peas; £9 without food. </p><p>Photos of event needed – DM? DM a 11 May – AGM plus cheese and wine. 16 May – Comedy Night – “From Here to l</p><p> l Absurdity” – Touring Sketch Show. Food – ask DM (curry?). Ticket sales to be split between DM them and us. £8 or £10 with food. 23 May – Wedding booked. 25 July – Wedding booked. Need bar staff. 12 April – Christening party booked. 6.2 Brian Thorpe very generously donated various P a g e | 2</p><p> items of white china (plates, gravy boats, jugs etc.) plus cutlery. 6.3 Pig Roast – Meeting set for 12th March 8.00pm in Hall. Prizes for raffle needed so can print tickets and start to sell. All</p><p>7. PR/Website/Newsletter 7.1 Newsletter – done and to be delivered.</p><p>8. Planning & matters 8.1 Kitchen – Steve Clarke of Country Kitchens has Arising quoted for all the kitchen alterations, including commercial cooker, but not including the roof, floor or electrics. DM to choose cooker. DM Quote - £10,260.</p><p>9. Any Other Business 9.1 Outside storage – GW presented leaflets for flatpack cabins (Expandakabin) by TP Structures. Need concrete base, can have pitched roof and gutters, fully insulated and with electrics. There are other companies – GW to enquire qnd get prices. GW 9.2 Communities First – FH been in touch. 9.3 Ginny Davis has been in touch to say she has new play – could stage it next year. 9.4 Car park on cricket field – PCC meeting on Thursday 5th March. AP to propose. AP 9.5 8 May – VE Day. CW proposed having a pub night to celebrate.
