<p> L&S Academic Advising Services</p><p>L&S Academic Advising Services provides academic advising to pre-declared Letters & Science undergraduate students who intend to complete a specific L&S degree and major. Mai ChouaXiong: [email protected] Nikki Lemmon: [email protected] Intended audience:  Students who are decided about a particular major in L&S Transfer Advisors:  Students applying to limited enrollment Madeline Wirtz: [email protected] majors within L&S Chris Logterman: [email protected]  Students who need to discuss the pre- Ann Groves Lloyd: [email protected] requisites of an L&S major before declaring the major Assistant Dean/Director: Not necessarily for: Jo Meier: [email protected]  Students who are interested in majors that cross L&S and other Schools/Colleges Office Staff: boundaries GaolyXiong: [email protected]  Declared students seeking readmission after being dropped  Students seeking an exception to L&S policy (refer to L&S Academic Deans Services)</p><p>Ways to get advising Advisor assignments and appointments</p><p> One-on-one advising appointments  New freshmen are assigned to our three  General Walk-In advising freshmen advisors  Professional Academic Advisors hold walk-  Transfer students are assigned to our three in hours at pre-designated times of the week transfer advisors for advisees  On an as-needed basis and for non-routine  Email advising group (either freshman or situations, students will be assigned to the transfer group with your assigned advisors) Assistant Dean/Director with questions that have short answers  Students use the WiscCal calendaring system to schedule appointments with academic advisors</p>
