<p>Department of General Services Procurement Division 707 Third Street, Second Floor, West Sacramento, CA 95605 (916) 375-4400 (800) 559-5529</p><p>Broadcast Date: June 6, 2011</p><p>TO: Procurement and Contracting Officers (PCO) Purchasing Authority Contacts (PACs) Agency Telecommunications Representations Local Governmental Agencies</p><p>RE: Western States Contracting Alliance (WSCA) Participating Agreements for Wireless Telecommunications Services and Equipment</p><p>In line with the Governor’s Executive Order B-1-11 regarding cell phone usage, the Department of General Services, Procurement Division (DGS/PD), is in the final stages of establishing WSCA agreements with AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon for Wireless Telecommunications Services and Equipment. </p><p>In the coming days, the contracts will be available to departments at:</p><p> http://www.documents.dgs.ca.gov/pd/contracts/contractindexlisting.htm.</p><p>At that time, department Agency Telecommunications Representatives (ATRs) and associated purchasing staff should review the plan offerings and begin migrating their wireless services to whichever plan best fits their business needs. </p><p>Departments may conduct business with any of the wireless providers. </p><p>The use of these WSCA agreements do not require further competition but as always, cost should be a consideration.</p><p>If you have any questions regarding this notification, please contact:</p><p>Linda Daveler 916/375-4459 [email protected]</p>
