We will use three courts for all matches.</p><p>Pool Play: Pool play begins at 8:30 a.m. and will consist of two games rally scored to 25 with a 27-point cap. Each game will start at 4 points. The first team listed will be the home team. Warm- ups will follow MSHSAA Volleyball Regulations. Each team is responsible to provide one line judge per game.</p><p>Locker Room Because of space, locker rooms will be shared. You will be Facilities: responsible for your team’s valuables and other belongings.</p><p>Tournament Play: Tournament play will follow pool play with a six-team bracket and a four team bracket. The top three teams from each bracket will advance to the championship bracket. The tournament portion will be single elimination using regulation matches. A match to determine third place will be played in the six-team bracket. There will also be a four team consolation bracket. The six-team bracket will be the first, second & third place teams from each pool selected by record. If a tie exists in determining the teams for the six- team bracket, the attached tie break system will be used:</p><p>Each team is responsible to provide one line judge per game.</p><p>Rosters: Please email your tournament roster to [email protected] by Monday, September 24, 2012. Should a tie occur, the tie will be broken by head-to-head competition during pool play for the teams involved in the tie. 2. If a tie continues to exist, the tie will be broken by point differential in head-to- head competition between the teams involved in the tie. 3. If a tie continues to exist, the tie will be broken by total points scored in pool play. 4. If a tie continues to exist, the tie will be broken by coin toss.</p><p>After pool play determines the 1st and 2nd place teams, the coaches will seed the 6-team bracket using the above formula.
