There is a lecture/class aspect and lab/experimental aspect to the class where we learn a concept and then either see it in action or test its application.I hope that by the end of this year you have a deeper understanding of the world around you! If you are absent it is your responsibility to complete any missed work. You will have one day for every day absent to turn in work after an excused absence. Tests and quizzes will be made up before or after school. You must schedule a time with me to make-up tests or quizzes. There will be no late work accepted outside of excused absences.</p><p>Homework/Classwork: All work will be graded for correctness and completion. Each class will begin with a “warm-up” covering material from previous lessons that will be turned in at the end of each quarter for an additional quiz grade. </p><p>Labs: All labs will be completed for the week and will be due the following Monday. </p><p>Science Articles: Each quarter you will read 6 current science news articles from a reliable news publication. The following criteria must be included:  Publication the article was taken from  Comprehensive summary of the article The articles will be collected each quarter for an additional quiz grade.
