A complete application package includes the following:  Application  Resume  Cover Letter  Copy of CDE teaching and/or principal license  Official transcripts  3 letters of recommendation </p><p>INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS & RESUMES RECEIVED IN LIEU OF APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.</p><p>For all current District employees, please submit Online Internal Application along with an updated resume by 4pm of closing date. </p><p>SUMMARY: The Coordinator at the WPS ELC is an administrative position within the Early Childhood Education Division.</p><p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: *Must possess valid Early Childhood Education teaching license by the Colorado Department of Education and a school or district administrator license (or in process of obtaining one) *At least five years of experience working in an early childhood education-related field desired, but not required *Possesses strong understanding of federal and state early childhood education policies, including child care licensing rules and regulations *Must have experience working with community agencies that support children and families *Independent technology skills *Possesses highly-effective organization, collaboration, and consultation skills *Demonstrates strong critical thinking, decision-making and problem-solving skills *Demonstrates strong conflict resolution skills *Ability to communicate positively and effectively with youth, parents, school personnel and community members *Must be able to read, write, and comprehend English *Experience and success working with diverse cultures and backgrounds desirable</p><p>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: *Provide daily programmatic supervision of the WPS Early Learning Center at Perl Mack Community Center *Coordinate ongoing enrollment of the center *Assist staff with job-embedded coaching *Plan, support and facilitate staff development for professionals working with young children *Assist with personnel needs including, but not limited to, staffing assignments, hiring and performance evaluation *Work closely with the Hyland Hills staff to ensure program meets all building specifications *Coordinate summer programming with Hyland Hills staff *Supervise and coordinate meal schedule and parent communication schedule for ELC staff *Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Early Childhood Education Westminster Public Schools is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
