<p> Architect & Engineer Specifications</p><p>Section 28 30 00 Electronic Detection and Alarm</p><p>SIP-3020, SIP-4010, SIP-404 Outdoor PIR Using Three Dual Pyro Sensors and Synthesized Intelligent PIR Technologies</p><p>PART 2 – Products</p><p>2.01 GENERAL</p><p>The intent of these specifications is to describe the equipment and functional requirements of an outdoor intrusion detection system. Brand names and catalog numbers included in this specification are used to establish standards of quality and performance characteristics, not for the purpose of limiting competitive bidding.</p><p>A. The sensor shall be used as a PIR motion sensor in remote monitored CCTV applications. Areas of coverage shall be designed to match common fixed camera and lens combinations.</p><p>B. The sensor shall have a mounting height of between 7.6 and 13 feet. </p><p>C. A 3-axis accelerometer shall be incorporated to alert of unauthorized reorientation of the device. </p><p>D. The sensor shall provide an anti-masking feature, alerting to unauthorized covering of the sensor windows. </p><p>E. The sensor shall include blanking plates to mask areas of unwanted coverage.</p><p>F. The sensor shall have a high-grade mirrored optical array with three dual pyro sensors.</p><p>G. The sensor shall have an IP-65 rated polycarbonate housing. </p><p>H. All sensors shall be equipped with tamper resistant head adjustments to prevent unauthorized adjustment of the head position. I. The sensor shall have Double Conductive Shielding to block RFI and spurious light sources, minimizing false alarms. </p><p>J. The sensor shall include high, medium and low sensitivity settings for near or far monitoring zones.</p><p>K.
