The lineage (seed) of David (II Samuel 7:12-13; Luke 1:30-33). 4. Born of a woman (Genesis 3:15; Galatians 4:4). Born of a virgin (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:27). 5. Bethlehem (the city of David) the place of His birth (Micah 5:2; Luke 2:1-7).</p><p>The character of Joseph and Mary 1. Joseph was a just man (Matthew 1:19; Deuteronomy 22:13-21). 2. Mary was faithful in the sight of God (Luke 1:26-34). 3. They were both righteous (Luke 2:39). 4. Mary was not a perpetual virgin (Matthew 1:24-25; I Corinthians 7:4-5; Matthew 13:55- 56; I Corinthians 9:5; Mark 6:3; Galatians 1:19).</p><p>The record of His birth (Luke 2:1-7). Good (John 14:1-3; Luke 16:19-31; Matthew 25:21; 23; John 11:25-26). 2. Bad (Matthew 5:22; 29-30; 10:28; 18:9; 23:15; 33; Mark 9:43; 45; 47; Luke 12:5).</p><p>True compassion – we are different The Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37)-background (Nehemiah 2:20; 4:1-2; 6:1-2).</p><p>Jesus gave us a complete view of the Father (John 1:18; 14:9)</p><p>God cares about every soul – even those thought unworthy by men. 1. Certainty of His death – He was buried. 3. His victory over death – resurrection. 4. Verification – eye witnesses.</p><p>The Bible teaches a bodily resurrection (Daniel 12:2; John 5:28-29; I Thessalonians 4:13-18; John 11:27; Acts 17:18; 32)</p><p>Points to ponder 1. There is an earthly body and a heavenly body (I Corinthians 15:40). 2. The natural body goes into the grave – the spiritual body comes from the grave (I Corinthians 15:44). 3. There is definite correlation between the two (Matthew 8:11; 17:1-5; Luke 16:19-31).</p><p>Of additional interest 1. Adam was the first man (I Corinthians 15:45). No prehistoric man! 6</p><p>2.
