<p> Job Description – Administrator</p><p>Job Title: Home-Start Administrator .</p><p>Employer: Home-Start Exeter and East Devon.</p><p>Hours of work: 16 hours per week.</p><p>Salary: Spine point 17 </p><p>Responsible to: The designated line manager from the trustees.</p><p>Purpose of the job  To provide administrative support to the employees of the scheme, and Board of Trustees as appropriate and agreed.  To ensure the efficient administration of the Home-Start office.  To raise and maintain our profile as a key charity within Exeter and East Devon.</p><p>Main Responsibilities  General office duties including database management, photocopying, diary management, filing and mailing etc.  Ensuring good communication with all scheme stakeholders, ensuring good practice in equality, diversity and fairness.  Inputting data and managing the Home-Start database.  Providing administrative support to assist in the recruitment, training, and support of volunteers.  Working with all other members of the team to ensure good safeguarding practice in all aspects of the scheme’s work.  Maintaining efficient, accurate and confidential records, including statistics collection and collation.  Preparing Annual reports, newsletters, minutes of meetings and publicity material.  Supporting events and meetings as required.  Administering petty cash and the processing of volunteer’s expenses.  Maintaining supplies of stationery and office sundries.  Complying with all Home-Start policies and procedures.  Maintaining our profile on various Social Media.</p><p>The post holder may be required to undertake any other duties that fall within the nature of the role and responsibilities of the post as detailed above see below.</p><p>This job description is current as at March 2017.</p><p>Additional Duties for an Administrator may include (to be discussed with applicants)  Taking and distributing minutes of Board of Trustee meetings.  Distributing agendas and reports for future meetings.  Maintaining day to day accounts.  Banking; withdrawing/paying in cheques.  Reconciling accounts.  Completing end of year tax returns.  Supporting annual returns to Companies House and the Charity Commission.</p>
