Created by: Tim Davis Lesson Abstract: This lesson will showcase how people use technology on a daily basis for everyday operations from historical beginnings to today. Subject Area: ELA K-3/Technology Grade Level: 3rd Grade Unit Title: Technology Use</p><p>Michigan Educational Technology Standards Connection: 1. Basic Operations and Concepts a. Students demonstrate a sound understanding of the nature and operation of technology systems. 1. Students identify common uses of technology found in daily life.</p><p>Michigan Grade Level Content Expectations Connection: R.CM.03.01 Connect personal knowledge, experience and understanding of the world to themes and perspectives in text through oral and written responses.</p><p>Michigan Curriculum Framework Connection: Standard 1 Benchmark 1 (1.1), Standard 8 Benchmark 3 (8.3), Standard 11 Benchmark 2 (11.2)</p><p>Estimated time required to complete lesson or unit: 1 class period Instructional resources: Computer Access, outline of activity, teacher directed activity.
