What does “to back” mean? 2a. What is typical of a headline? 2b.Try to reformulate the headline in different ways. Try to answer: Who? When? Where? Why? Collect answers (1., 2a+b. and W-questions on the blackboard or on OHP)</p><p>10’ Vocabulary Discussion of vocabulary. T shows important vocabulary of the text without explanation. Ss work in pairs and look up words in a dictionary. Collect synonyms or translations in class.</p><p>15’ Reading Reading the Lead in class. Can the W-questions be answered?
