Page 3 of 2</p><p>Required equipment on board: A Personal Flotation Device is required for each individual on board, throwable device, fire extinguisher, whistle or horn, anchor, oar, visual distress signal, first aid kit, and a handheld VHF radio. Small boat vessel operators are also required to check the weather forecast and current radar image or loop on the Web and log out on the status board prior to departure and log in after return. </p>
