V 1 1/2 Lb. of Stewing Beef

<p> Beef stew </p><p>Ingredients</p><p> 1 1/2 lb. of stewing beef  1 tbsp. olive oil  1 chopped onion  1 toe minced garlic  1 can chopped tomato or fresh tomato  1/4 c. water  1 Cup of  ½ tsp pepper  1/4 tsp. basil  1/4 tsp. thyme  1 c. or more of each carrot, celery, and potato</p><p>Directions: Brown beef in olive oil. Add garlic and onion. Sauté until transparent. Stir in soup, , and water. Cover and simmer about 30 minutes. Add herbs, ketchup, and vegetables. Cover and simmer about 1 1/2 hours or until tender. Stir often. Add more water if necessary. BBQ Sauce</p><p>Ingredients  1 Cup of  1 tablespoon olive oil  1 tablespoon soy sauce  1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar  Finely chopped garlic  1/4 teaspoon cumin  1/4 teaspoon chipotle chili powder  Thyme, rosemary</p><p>Directions:</p><p>In a medium saucepan, add olive oil, garlic, chipotle powder, and cumin. Simmer/stir for 5 minutes then add .</p><p>Continue to simmer for 2-3 minutes. Add in soy sauce, vinegar, thyme and rosemary. Simmer for 2 minutes more. </p><p>Remove from heat; allow to cool slightly before using. </p><p>Spead over chops or steaks. Chicken Marinade</p><p>This marinade is good all parts of the chicken. It can also be used as a basting sauce for rotisserie chicken or grilled turkey breasts.</p><p>Ingredients</p><p> 2 1/5 cups of  1/2 cup olive oil  2 tbsp. lemon juice or vinegar  4 scallions, sliced  2 cloves garlic, minced  1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated  1/4 c. onions, chopped  1/2 tsp. salt  Piece of bay leaf Directions:</p><p>Combine ingredients. Shake well. Pour over the meat. Cover and turn 2-3 times during marinating period. Best if marinated overnight. Makes enough for 2lbs of meat.</p><p>Ice cream</p><p>Ingredients  Vanilla ice cream  ½ cup of  Sultanas  Dried figs  Sliced dried almonds</p><p>How to make it  Serve 3 scoops of vanilla ice-cream per person.  Add sultanas, dried figs, sliced dried almonds and pour over a glass of  Serve with a chilled glass of & Fruit </p><p>Ingredients  3 Cups of  1 cinnamon stick (3 inches)  8 whole cloves</p><p>Directions:</p><p> In a saucepan, combine, cinnamon stick , cloves &  Bring to a boil.  Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes.  Strain liquid; discard cinnamon stick and cloves.  Cover and refrigerate until serving.  Serve this over assorted fruits like melon balls, fresh strawberries, blueberries, most any type of fruit.... Fruit Salad</p><p>Ingredients  3 cups of  Bananas  Strawberries  Apple  Oranges</p><p>Directions</p><p> Cut the fruit onto small pieces  Add the Serve with your favorite yogurt. </p>
