The position includes overnight travel involved with Area Animal Science Days, the State 4-H Judging Contests and the WI State Fair. The department covers work related travel costs.</p><p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Development of 4-H Animal Science related resources 2. Workshop instructor at youth agricultural events 3. Assist with development activities that support youth agricultural programs 4. Organization of student volunteers for events 5. Write and submit press releases 6. Assist with the coordination of Commodity Carnival 7. Manage social media sites for Commodity Carnival</p><p>QUALIFICATIONS: </p><p>Experience in 4-H and youth agricultural programs and knowledge of Wisconsin Youth Agricultural activities is desirable.
