Explain what a sound argument is and how you would test it</p><p>3. Understand and explain the difference between deductive and inductive arguments</p><p>4. Understand and give examples of how statements are referred to in symbolic logic</p><p>5. Understand and explain:</p><p> a) the law of negation</p><p> b) the law of contradiction</p><p> c) the law of excluded middle</p><p> d) the law of implication</p><p>6. Explain the difference between necessary and sufficient conditions and give examples</p><p>7.
