Ensuring that your child is taught the National Curriculum . Making sure that your child is safe . Strategically plan for the school’s future . Interview for new staff . Ensure that the school’s finances are in order  Hold the school to account over the provision of education.  Provide performance management for the Head Teacher</p><p>Governors do not need to have any particular qualifications, but we attend regular training and keep abreast of current issues concerning education locally and nationally.</p><p>Our Governing Body is made up of representatives from the school and its community and we meet regularly as a large group and as smaller committees, in order to work with the Head Teacher and Staff to push the school forward.
