You can’t do your best work if you’re always being interrupted. Find a place at home that is quiet and well lit. If you can’t work at home, try the library.

How can I make sure that I have the time to get my homework finished? -Schedule your daily homework time! Try this: write down all scheduled after school activities and responsibilities so that you can clearly see what time is available for homework. From the time available, select a homework time that is best for you.

How can I make sure that I have what I need to do my homework? -Put together a homework survival kit! Would you rather get your homework done in an hour or spend that much time looking for your pencil, index cards, paper, etc..? A homework survival kit is the answer. This kit should include all the things you’ll need throughout the year. Put these things in the box in your study area and in a backpack if you will be studying at the library.

Pencils Dictionary Colored Pencils Atlas Construction Paper Thesaurus Crayons Pens Markers Paper Pencil Sharpener Glue Report Folder Rubber bands Scissors Almanac Paper Clips Ruler Eraser Stapler Index Cards Staples
