“A tisket, a tasket, put your EXTRA CREDIT, LATE WORK, ABSENT WORK… in the basket…” “ Getting It All Together At Home”
How can I do better on my homework in less time? -Find your own study area! You can’t do your best work if you’re always being interrupted. Find a place at home that is quiet and well lit. If you can’t work at home, try the library.
How can I make sure that I have the time to get my homework finished? -Schedule your daily homework time! Try this: write down all scheduled after school activities and responsibilities so that you can clearly see what time is available for homework. From the time available, select a homework time that is best for you.
How can I make sure that I have what I need to do my homework? -Put together a homework survival kit! Would you rather get your homework done in an hour or spend that much time looking for your pencil, index cards, paper, etc..? A homework survival kit is the answer. This kit should include all the things you’ll need throughout the year. Put these things in the box in your study area and in a backpack if you will be studying at the library.
