Terms Last Revised: 6/06/2016

YC Emissions Unit Operations in Relation to its Potential to Emit and for units permitted at their Potential to Emit

Replace the XXXXs with the following terms with the following:

XXXX1 with the pollutant(s) permitted at the potential to emit for the source

XXXX2 is the TPY limit for the pollutant in XXXX1

XXXX3 - specify: the type of pollutant (e.g., VOC(s), particulate(s), or organic compounds)

Y.5 Additional Terms and Conditions, Documentation of the Rate of Operations in Relation to its Potential to Emit (PTE)

Use this term if operating at a rate less than the potential to emit; the annual emission limitation is not established as a synthetic minor (i.e., rolling, 12-month) limitation and the permit will not be issued as a draft-before-final permit action:

1.a.1.a. The annual [XXXX1] emissions from this emissions unit shall not exceed [XXXX2] tons per year. This emissions limit does not reflect the potential to emit for the purposes of avoiding federal permitting requirements.

Use this term if a new raw material could be used that would cause the potential to emit to increase

1.a.1.b. The permittee shall submit a new application and be issued a new permit if a new process material is to be used that would cause the emissions unit to exceed the permitted potential to emit established in this permit.

Y.6 Additional Terms and Conditions, for Emissions Units Permitted at their Potential to Emit (PTE)

Use one of the following terms if operating at the potential to emit:

1.a.1.c. The hourly/daily [XXXX1] emissions limits were established to reflect the potential to emit for this emissions unit. Therefore, it is not necessary to develop record keeping and/or reporting requirements to ensure compliance with this short term emissions limitation. Based on this hourly/daily potential emissions rate, the unrestricted potential to emit [XXXX1] emissions from this emissions unit, based on 8,760 hours/365 days of operation per year, is [XXXX2] tons per year.

OR

1.a.1.a. The potential to emit [XXXX1], as defined in OAC rule 3745- 31-01, for this emissions unit is [XXXX2] tons per year.

OR 1.a.1.a. This emissions unit is permitted at its potential to emit, as defined in OAC rule 3745-31-01, for all pollutants.

Y.7 Record keeping Requirements for Emissions Units Permitted at their Potential to Emit (PTE)

(1.a.2) Record keeping of the process emissions is not required since the emissions unit is permitted at its potential to emit for all pollutants.

Y.10 Record keeping Requirements for the calculation of the Potential to Emit (PTE)

(1.a.3) The potential to emit [XXXX3] from this emissions unit was established based on the following calculation:

[PTE calculation]
