<p>Troop 65 Patrol Leaders Council (PLC)</p><p>Tips for holding a successful PLC meeting:</p><p>1. Follow an Agenda</p><p>*Hand out the agenda before the meeting so everyone is prepared *Wording in the agenda should state the specific goal: “Plan November 1st meeting” *Begin and end the meeting on time. </p><p>2. Come to the meeting with ideas and suggestions ready *Think about the goals and how to meet them prior to the meeting</p><p>3. Stay focused on the immediate task *SPL must keep the group on target; individuals must avoid sidetracking the group *Keep the meeting brisk, with short remarks and quick comments</p><p>4. Develop an “Action Items” list as each goal is discussed</p><p>*This is a list of who is responsible for each particular task *Review this list at the end of the meeting</p><p>5. Print and distribute the meeting minutes as soon as possible *Distribute to all members, whether they attended the meeting or not</p><p>Sample Agenda</p><p>6:30 Old Business (Any leftover items from the last meeting)</p><p>1). Uniform incentives 2). Combining two patrols</p><p>6:45 Plan three monthly meetings</p><p>1). Programs 2). Games 3).
