<p> RICHARD L. FRIEDMAN</p><p>Richard L. Friedman is the President and CEO of Carpenter & Company, Inc. of Cambridge, Massachusetts, a private firm specializing in real estate and private investments. Carpenter is regarded as one of the foremost real estate investment and development firms in America and has been a highly successful business since the 1960s. Carpenter’s flagship east coast real estate project is the Charles Hotel project in Harvard Square, Cambridge, Massachusetts, and on the west coast, the St. Regis Hotel and Condominiums project in San Francisco, California.
