Content Objectives: TSW read and identify different elements of fairytales. Materials: Fairytale flipchart, Traditional Literature Booklet & All STAARS Spring Training Booklet Resources: Balanced Literacy Time: 8:00-9:30, 9:30-11:00, 11:00-11:25/1:15-2:25 Assessment: Booklet</p><p>Connect: TTW ask students to share what they know about fairytales.</p><p>Teach: </p><p> TTW explain the elements that make a fairytale by showing and discussing the flipchart. TTW read aloud Cinderella.</p><p>Guided Practice: </p><p> TSW work together to fill in fairytale chart.</p><p>Link:</p><p> TTW tell TS that they will be applying what we did today with their choice of 2 fairytales by Friday.</p><p>Independent Practice:</p><p> Groups: </p><p>1. Content Objectives: TSW listen, watch, identify and write elements of Mufaro’s Daughter.
