<p> CDBG “Subgrantee Workshop”</p><p>DCED is requesting one (1) Three-day (3-day) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) “Subgrantee” Workshop to include the following:  PowerPoint presentation and workshop facilitation by trainers experienced in state government administration of CDBG  Class exercises in each module where applicable  Workshop guidebook and reference material to be provided  Open book “self test” exam at conclusion. </p><p>Workshop Design and Development</p><p>Design and develop a Pennsylvania specific “Subgrantee” workshop in accordance with guidelines provided by the Department of Housing and Urban Development and DCED and mutually agreed upon. This will include workshop objectives, agendas, and timetables. </p><p>Workshop Participant Materials</p><p>Workshop Participant Manuals, exercises, PowerPoint and reference materials will be designed developed and printed (up to 50 copies) for the workshop.</p><p>Venue Scheduling and Logistics </p><p>The location for the workshop will be arranged by DCED staff, site specifications will be agreed upon by the Trainer and DCED. The workshop will be held in the Harrisburg area beginning September 24, 2014 and run through September 26, 2014. The Department will conduct registration of subgrantee staff within Pennsylvania eligible for this workshop and provide the Trainer with a list of registrants. The maximum number of participants shall be 50. The Trainer will provide name tags and other registration materials as necessary. </p><p>Workshop Staff</p><p>Workshop facilitation by experienced trainers with knowledge and specific experience administering the state Community Development Block Grant Program at the state government level.
