<p> Greene Board of Selectmen Regular Meeting ~ March 10, 2014</p><p>Minutes will not become official until accepted at the next Regular Selectmen’s Meeting March 24, 2014. </p><p>Selectmen present: Don Bedford, Tony Reny – Acting Chairman, Charles Noonan – Town Manager, Kevin Mower, Glenn Chateauvert and Sally Ann Hebert – Recording Secretary. </p><p>Selectmen absent: Ron Grant – Vacation. </p><p>Staff present: None. </p><p>Others present: </p><p>This meeting was televised on WGLT TV7 Greene, Maine</p><p>I. Call to Order</p><p>Tony Reny, Acting Chairman, called the meeting to order at 7PM. </p><p>II. Public discussion </p><p>Tony Reny thanked voters for reelecting him to the Board. </p><p>Glenn Chateauvert thanked the voters for electing him to the Board. </p><p>III. Acceptance of Minutes </p><p>There are no minutes in the packet to accept. </p><p>IV. Treasurers Report </p><p>Charlie Noonan, Town Manager/Treasurer reported a balance on hand after today’s warrants of $ 677,326.07. </p><p>V. Roads </p><p>Charlie Noonan reminded residents to drive slowly as there are numerous frost heaves and pot holes on the roads. The plows will skimming over the top of the frost heaves during snow storms. There were 48 in attendance at Town Meeting on Saturday. </p><p> b. Annual Town Meeting</p><p>There was discussion on the number of street lights in town and if they could be moved to other locations. </p><p>The voters voted down the article on using straight salt on the roads. </p><p>The voters voted for the purchase/lease of a new highway department truck. </p><p> c. Stanley Hearing March 25, 2014 2:00PM</p><p>Charlie Noonan reported the hearing is scheduled separately on March 25th at 2PM. </p><p> d. Appointments</p><p>Kevin Mower motioned to appoint Charles A Noonan as Town Manager, Town Clerk, treasurer, Tax Collector, Road Commissioner, General Assistance Administrator and Emergency Management Director for one year expiring March 15, 2015. Don Bedford 2nd the motion. Vote was unanimous. Motion passed. </p><p>Kevin Mower motioned to appoint Sally Ann Hebert as Registrar of Voters for one year expiring March 15, 2015. Don Bedford 2ns the motion. Vote was unanimous.
