Second Portion Numbers Chapter 26 ה ְראוּ ֵ ֖בן ְבּ ֣כוֹר ִי ְשָׂר ֵ ֑אל ְבֵּ ֣ני ְראוּ ֵ֗בן ֲח ֙נוֹ ִמ ְשׁ ַ ֣פּ ַחת Reuben, Israel's firstborn: The descendants of Reuben .5 ַ ֽה ֲח ֹנ ִ֔כי ְל ַפ ֕לּוּא ִמ ְשׁ ַ ֖פּ ַחת ַה ַפּ ֻלּ ִֽאי: were: the family of the Hanochites from Hanoch; the family of the Paluites from Palu, ו ְל ֶח ְצ ֕רֹן ִמ ְשׁ ַ ֖פּ ַחת ַ ֽה ֶח ְצ ִ ֑רוֹני ְל ַכְר ִ֕מי ִמ ְשׁ ַ ֖פּ ַחת the family of the Hezronites from Hezron, and the family of .6 ַה ַכְּר ִֽמי: .the Carmites from Carmi ז ֵ ֖א ֶלּה ִמ ְשׁ ְפּ ֣חֹת ָהֽראוּ ֵבִ ֑ני ַוִֽיּ ְה֣יוּ ְפֻ ֽ ק ֵד ֶ֗יהם ְשׁ ָ ֤לשׁה These were the families of the Reubenites, and they .7 ְו ַאְר ָבּ ִﬠי ֙ם ֶ֔א ֶלף ְוּשׁ ַ ֥בע ֵמ ֖אוֹת ְוּשׁ ִֽלשׁים: .numbered forty three thousand, seven hundred and thirty ח וּ ְבֵ ֥ני ַפ ֖לּוּא ֱא ִל ָ ֽיאב: .The sons of Palu were Eliab .8 ט וּ ְבֵ ֣ני ֱא ִל ָ֔יאב ְנ ֵ ֖מוּאל ְו ָד ָ ֣תן ַ ֽו ֲא ִב ָ ֑ירם ֽהוּא ָ־ד ָ֨תן The sons of Eliab were Nemuel, Dathan and Abiram they .9 ַ ֽו ֲא ִב ָ ֜ירם ְקִר ֵ ֣יאי (כתיב קרואי) ָ ֽה ֵﬠ ָ֗דה ֲא ֶ֨שׁר ִה ֜צּוּ are Dathan and Abiram, the chosen of the congregation who ַﬠל־מ ֶ ֤שׁה ְו ַﬠ ַ ֽל־א ֲה ֙רֹן ַ ֽבּ ֲﬠ ַדת ֔־קַֹרח ְבּ ַהצֹּ ָ ֖תם ,incited against Moses and Aaron in the assembly of Korah when they incited against the Lord. ַﬠל־ ְי ָ ֽהוֹה: י ַו ִתּ ְפ ַ֨תּח ָה ָ֜אֶרץ ֶאת ִ֗־פּ ָיה ַו ִתּ ְב ַ ֥לע ֹא ָ ֛תם ְו ֶאת ֖־קַֹרח And the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them and .10 ְבּ ֣מוֹת ָ ֽה ֵﬠ ָ ֑דה ַ ֽבּ ֲא ֣כֹל ָה ֵ֗אשׁ ֵ ֣את ֲח ִמ ִ ֤שּׁים וּ ָמ ַ֨אתִי ֙ם Korah, when that assembly died, and when fire destroyed two ִ֔אישׁ ַוִֽיּ ְה֖יוּ ְלֵ ֽנס: .hundred and fifty men, and they became a sign https://www.chabad.org/parshah/torahreading.asp?aid=2495776&p=complete&jewish=Pinchas-Torah-Reading.htm 2/18 7/10/2020 Pinchas Torah Reading - Parshah יא וּ ְב ֵנ ֖י־קַֹרח ל ֹא ֵ ֽ־מתוּ: .Korah's sons, however, did not die .11 יב ְבֵּ ֣ני ִשׁ ְמ ֘עוֹן ְל ִמ ְשׁ ְפּ ָחֹת ֒ם ִל ְנ ֵ֗מוּאל ִמ ְשׁ ַ֨פּ ַח ֙ת :The descendants of Simeon according to their families .12 ַה ְנּ ֣מ ֵוּא ִ֔לי ְל ָי ִ֕מין ִמ ְשׁ ַ ֖פּ ַחת ַהָ ֽיּ ִמ ִ ֑יני ְל ָי ִ֕כין ִמ ְשׁ ַ ֖פּ ַחת the family of the Nemuelites from Nemuel, the family of the ַהָ ֽיּ ִכ ִֽיני: ,Jaminites from Jamin, the family of the Jachinites from Jachin יג ְל ֶ֕זַרח ִמ ְשׁ ַ ֖פּ ַחת ַה ַזְּר ִ ֑חי ְל ָשׁ ֕אוּל ִמ ְשׁ ַ ֖פּ ַחת the family of the Zerahites from Zerah, the family of the .13 ַה ָ ֽשּׁ ִֽאוּלי: .Shaulites from Shaul יד ֵ ֖א ֶלּה ִמ ְשׁ ְפּ ֣חֹת ַה ִשּׁ ְמעִֹ ֑ני ְשַׁ ֧נ ִ ים ְו ֶﬠ ְשִׂ ֛רים ֶ ֖א ֶלף These were the families of the Simeonites twenty two .14 וּ ָמ ָ ֽאתִים: .thousand and two hundred טו ְבֵּ ֣ני ָג ֘ד ְל ִמ ְשׁ ְפּ ָחֹת ֒ם ִל ְצ ֗פוֹן ִמ ְשׁ ַ֨פּ ַח ֙ת ַה ְצּ ִ֔פוֹני The descendants of Gad according to their families: the .15 ְל ַח ִ֕גּי ִמ ְשׁ ַ ֖פּ ַחת ַ ֽה ַחִ ֑גּי ְל ִ֕שׁוּני ִמ ְשׁ ַ ֖פּ ַחת ַה ִֽשּׁוּני: family of the Zefonites from Zefon, the family of the Haggites from Haggi, the family of the Shunites from Shuni, טז ְל ָאְז ִ֕ני ִמ ְשׁ ַ ֖פּ ַחת ָ ֽה ָאְזִ ֑ני ְל ֵﬠִ ֕רי ִמ ְשׁ ַ ֖פּ ַחת ָ ֽה ֵﬠִֽרי: the family of the Oznites from Ozni, the family of the Erites .16 from Eri, יז ַ ֽל ֲא ֕רוֹד ִמ ְשׁ ַ ֖פּ ַחת ָ ֽה ֲא ִ ֑רוֹדי ְל ַ֨אְר ֵא ִ֔לי ִמ ְשׁ ַ ֖פּ ַחת the family of the Arodites from Arod, the family of the .17 ָ ֽה ַאְר ֵא ִֽלי: .Arelites from Areli יח ֵ ֛א ֶלּה ִמ ְשׁ ְפּ ֥חֹת ְבּ ֵנ ָ ֖י־גד ִל ְפֻ ֽ ק ֵד ֶ ֑יהם ַאְר ָבּ ִ֥ﬠים ֶ ֖א ֶלף These were families of Gad according to those of them .18 ַ ֽו ֲח ֵ ֥משׁ ֵמ ֽאוֹת: .counted, forty thousand and five hundred יט ְבֵּ ֥ני ְי ָ ֖הוּדה ֵ ֣ﬠר ְו ָ ֑אוֹנ ן ַוָ ֥יּ ָמת ֵ ֛ﬠר ְו ָ ֖אוֹנ ן ְבּ ֶ ֥אֶרץ The sons of Judah were Er and Onan, but Er and Onan .19 ְכָּ ֽנ ַﬠן: .died in the land of Canaan כ ַוִֽיּ ְה֣יוּ ְבֵ ֽני־ ְי ָהוּד ֘ה ְל ִמ ְשׁ ְפּ ָחֹת ֒ם ְל ֵשׁ ָ֗לה ִמ ְשׁ ַ֨פּ ַח ֙ת The descendants of Judah according to their families: the .20 ַה ֵ ֣שּׁ ָל ִ֔ני ְל ֶ֕פֶרץ ִמ ְשׁ ַ ֖פּ ַחת ַה ַפְּר ִ ֑צי ְל ֶ֕זַרח ִמ ְשׁ ַ ֖פּ ַחת family of the Shelanites from Shelah, the family of the ַה ַזְּר ִֽחי: .Perezites from Perez, the family of the Zerahites from Zerah כא ַוִֽיּ ְה֣יוּ ְב ֵנ ֶ֔י־פֶרץ ְל ֶח ְצ ֕רֹן ִמ ְשׁ ַ ֖פּ ַחת ַ ֽה ֶח ְצרִֹ ֑ני The descendants of Perez were: the family of the .21 ְל ָח ֕מוּל ִמ ְשׁ ַ ֖פּ ַחת ֶה ָ ֽח ִֽמוּלי: Hezronites from Hezron, the family of the Hamulites from Hamul.
