Historic Five grade II listed buildings are spread throughout the area, and two grade Environment, II*buildings are located in the west of the area. Water, Soil A linear flood zone 3b and 2 cuts east-west through Colu1, as well as numerous 1 in 30 and 1 in 100 year surface water flood risk zones. The area is covered by grade 3 agricultural land. It is uncertain whether this comprises land classified as the best and most versatile agricultural land (i.e. grade 3a). Colu2 A linear 1 in 30 and 1 in 100 year surface water flood risk zone is located on the Water, Soil western boundary of Colu2. The area is covered entirely by grade 3 agricultural land. Colu3 There are four grade II listed buildings located within Colu3: two in the south Historic east of the site area, and two at the western boundary. Environment, There is a linear 1 in 30 year surface water flood risk zone located on the Water, Soil eastern boundary of the area. There is also a flood zone 2 and a 1 in 30 year surface water flood risk zone located along the southern boundary. The area is covered by grade 3 agricultural land. It is uncertain whether this comprises land classified as the best and most versatile agricultural land (i.e. grade 3a). Colu4 Colu4 is covered by grade 3 agricultural land. It is uncertain whether this Soil comprises land classified as the best and most versatile agricultural land (i.e. grade 3a). Colu5 Two grade II listed structures (Bosworgey House and milestone located next to Historic the A3059) and a scheduled monument (medieval wayside cross) are present in Environment, Colu5. Soil Colu5 is covered by grade 3 agricultural land. It is uncertain whether this comprises land classified as the best and most versatile agricultural land (i.e. grade 3a). Colu6 The north eastern corner of Colu6 extends into the St Columb Major Historic Conservation Area. Within this section of Colu6 there are two scheduled Environment, monuments, seven grade II listed buildings and one grade I listed building. The Water, Soil grade I building is the Church of St Columba (circa 1926). There are east-west and north-south linear 1 in 30 and 1 in 100 year flood risk zones located throughout the area. Colu6 is covered entirely by grade 3 agricultural land. It is uncertain whether this comprises land classified as the best and most versatile agricultural land (i.e. grade 3a). There are three grade II listed buildings in the area, Environment, two close to the eastern boundary and one on the southern boundary. There is Landscape, a large 1 in 30 year surface water flood zone, and additionally a fluvial flood Water, zone 3a present in the south east corner of the area. Biodiversity, Soil Whilst the West Cornwall Bryophytes SSSI is located approximately 730m to the north east of Day1’s boundary, the area is located within the SSSI’s IRZ relating to residential development of 100 units or more. Day1 is covered by grade 3 agricultural land. It is uncertain whether this comprises land classified as the best and most versatile agricultural land (i.e. grade 3a). Day2 Day2 lies entirely within the Gwennap Mining District of the Cornwall and West Historic Devon World Heritage Site. There is a small 1 in 30 year flood risk zone at the Environment, southern boundary of Day2. Landscape, Whilst the West Cornwall Bryophytes SSSI is located approximately 1,000m to Biodiversity, Soil, the north east of Day2’s boundary, the area is located within the SSSI’s IRZ Water relating to residential development of 100 units or more. Day2 is covered by grade 3 agricultural land. It is uncertain whether this comprises land classified as the best and most versatile agricultural land (i.e. grade 3a). Day3 Day3 lies wholly within the Gwennap Mining District of the Cornwall and West Historic Devon World Heritage Site, and there is a 1 in 30 year flood risk zone located in Environment, the south western part of the area. The north eastern boundary encroaches Landscape, slightly into the St Day Conservation Area. Water, Whilst the West Cornwall Bryophytes SSSI is located approximately 1,100m to Biodiversity, Soil the north east of Day3’s boundary, the area is located within the SSSI’s IRZ relating to residential development of 100 units or more. Day3 is covered by grade 3 agricultural land. It is uncertain whether this comprises land classified as the best and most versatile agricultural land (i.e. grade 3a). Day4 The eastern half of Day4 is within the Gwennap Mining District of the Cornwall Historic and West Devon World Heritage Site. There is a linear, south west–north east 1 Environment, in 30 year surface water flood risk zone located near the northern boundary of Landscape, Day4. Water, Whilst the West Cornwall Bryophytes SSSI is located approximately 1,500m to Biodiversity, Soil the north east of Day4’s boundary, the area is located within the SSSI’s IRZ relating to residential development of 100 units or more. Day4 is covered by grade 3 agricultural land. It is uncertain whether this comprises land classified as the best and most versatile agricultural land (i.e. grade 3a). There are Environment, also 1 in 30 year flood zones along with Deciduous Woodland BAP Priority Landscape, Habitat located at the northern boundary of Day5. Water, Day5 is covered by grade 3 agricultural land. It is uncertain whether this Biodiversity, Soil comprises land classified as the best and most versatile agricultural land (i.e. grade 3a). Whilst the West Cornwall Bryophytes SSSI is located approximately 1,300m to the north east of Day5’s boundary, the area is located within the SSSI’s IRZ relating to residential development of 100 units or more. Day6 Day6 lies entirely within the Gwennap Mining District of the Cornwall and West Historic Devon World Heritage Site. There is one grade II listed building in the north east Environment, corner of the area. Landscape, There is a flood zone 3a located along the north western site boundary. In Water, addition, a 1 in 100 year and 1 in 30 year surface water flood risk zone extends Biodiversity, Soil down the length of this boundary. Day6 is covered by grade 3 agricultural land. It is uncertain whether this comprises land classified as the best and most versatile agricultural land (i.e. grade 3a). Whilst the West Cornwall Bryophytes SSSI is located approximately 930m to the north east of Day6’s boundary, the area is located within the SSSI’s IRZ relating to residential development of 100 units or more. Day7 Day7 lies entirely within the Gwennap Mining District of the Cornwall and West Landscape, Devon World Heritage Site. Historic The Wheal Gorland SSSI (designated for geodiversity) is situated 10m north of Environment, the north eastern corner of Day7. As such an IRZ related to this SSSI covers the Minerals and area, with all planning applications within 40m of this SSSI considered a risk. Geodiversity, In addition the West Cornwall Bryophytes SSSI is located approximately 640m Water, to the east of Day7’s boundary, and the area is located within the SSSI’s IRZ Biodiversity, Soil relating to residential development of 100 units or more. Almost all of Day7 is covered by grade 3 agricultural land. It is uncertain whether this comprises land classified as the best and most versatile agricultural land (i.e. grade 3a). Day8 Day8 lies wholly within the Gwennap Mining District of the Cornwall and West Historic Devon World Heritage Site. The western site boundary borders the St Day Environment, Conservation Area. Landscape, The West Cornwall Bryophytes SSSI is located approximately 360m to the east Biodiversity, Soil of Day8’s boundary, and the area is located within the SSSI’s IRZ relating to residential development of 100 units or more. A small area next to the western boundary is also classified as grade 3 agricultural land. It is uncertain whether this comprises land classified as the best and most versatile agricultural land (i.e. grade 3a).
